Sunflower MLS Home Sales Fell in May
Total home sales in the Sunflower multiple listing service fell last month to 401 units, compared to 412 units in May 2016. Total sales volume was $56.6 million, down from a year earlier. The median sale price in May was $122,500, down from $127,250 a year earlier. Homes that sold in May were typically on the market for 14 days and sold for 99.2% of their list prices.
Sunflower MLS Active Listings Down at End of MayThe total number of active listings in the Sunflower multiple listing service at the end of May was 847 units, down from 1,010 at the same point in 2016. This represents a 2.1 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of May was $129,900. During May, a total of 389 contracts were written up from 373 in May 2016. At the end of the month, there were 543 contracts pending, compared to 586 at the end of May 2016.
