month to 5 units, compared to 6 units in June 2017. Total sales
volume was $0.5 million, down from a year earlier.
The median sale price in June was $89,900, up from $48,250 a
year earlier. Homes that sold in June were typically on the
market for 55 days and sold for 96.6% of their list prices.
Northeast Kansas Active Listings Up at End of June
The total number of active listings in the Northeast Kansas
MLS System at the end of June was 62 units, up from 41 at the
same point in 2017. This represents a 12.4 months’ supply of
homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the
market at the end of June was $86,700.
During June, a total of 5 contracts were written down from 9 in
June 2017. At the end of the month, there were 13 contracts
pending, compared to 7 at the end of June 2017.
