Northeast Kansas Home Sales Fell in February
Total home sales in the Northeast Kansas MLS System fell last month to 5 units, compared to 12 units in February 2016. Total sales volume was $0.8 million, down from a year earlier.
The median sale price in February was $147,400, up from $79,250 a year earlier. Homes that sold in February were typically on the market for 56 days and sold for 93.1% of their list prices.
Northeast Kansas Active Listings Down at End of February
The total number of active listings in the Northeast
Kansas MLS System at the end of February was 104 units,
down from 203 at the same point in 2016. This
represents a 20.8 months’ supply of homes available for
sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the
end of February was $99,950.
During February, a total of 16 contracts were written up
from 12 in February 2016. At the end of the month, there
were 32 contracts pending, compared to 30 at the end
of February 2016.
